Online Booking is Open

Updated: Oct 20, 2021

My Dear Clients,

I have wonderful news! I’ve worked out my timing and rebooked the previously canceled appointments. After a great first week of phase 2 at the salon, I’m thrilled to reopen my online (and also the usual text, email, phone, Facebook, Yelp, Insta DM, raven and smoke signal) bookings.

But I also want to touch base with all of you to let you know some of the new mandates for hair salons and barbershops and how they are implemented here.  I don’t want anyone to be surprised, disappointed, or unprepared by the changes.  I am trying to keep the experience as relaxing and salon-like as possible.  I will be maintaining a high standard of sanitation while trying to keep it from feeling like a medical visit.

Please take some time to read all of the listed changes and protocols in the “What To Expect” form and verify that you have read them and understand.

A few of the highlights include:

  • I’ve added time to every service to properly sanitize between clients

  • I’ve followed every requirement AND every recommendation made of every NY multi-stylist hair salon

  • I’ve eliminated all overlapping services so every appointment is uniquely private

  • We both must wear a mask for the entirety of your appointment

  • Additional guests cannot accompany you in the salon

  • You'll need to check in with me by phone upon arrival before entering the door

  • I’ll open the door and bring you sanitizer for your phone & hands and a fresh mask to keep yours free from hair color and clippings

I will be offering some new creative express services at the salon for those that wish to get in and out more quickly.  Some of these are: Dry haircuts, air-dry styling sets, services that skip blow-dry styling, and creative color placement techniques that give maximum impact with minimal time in the salon chair.

Since it has been many moons since I’ve seen any of you, we may need more than the usual maintenance time for your appointment, there may be some quarantine self care treatments that need correcting, or you may be thinking about going a completely new direction with your #hairgoals. No matter what, we will need to touch base to make sure we’re allowing the appropriate time. It'll be much easier to communicate all of this in advance, without masks on, and that will also help to minimize our time in the salon.

If you have any reference photos for your new hair goals, or your current hair reality, or anything that you think would be helpful to communicate, please feel free to text or email them to me in advance so I can be as prepared as possible for our consultation and upcoming appointment. Additionally, I ask that you please update all of your contact information in Vagaro and complete both Reopen Forms accessible by the buttons below. If, for some reason, you have some issues logging in to complete the forms, please reach out to me and I'll have your login info resent to you.

To help streamline and perfect the sanitation operations - while not increasing our potential contamination biosphere- you will be seeing my husband Jeff around the salon more, in his new role we’re currently calling Commander Lieutenant Enacting All Necessary Sanitation- or just Mr C.L.E.A.N.S. for short. He’s been extremely diligent about his sanitation procedures as well as the required record keeping. He’ll also be helping me with some of the scheduling and social media- since my hands will be occupied making the world a more beautiful place, one head at a time, safely in my private salon.

Many Thanks,

Fiona
