Fall Update and Holiday Schedule

Here’s a little update on life, the salon, and what’s coming up for the holidays, but scroll to the bottom for the TLDR

My Dear Clients,

I hope everyone had a great October! We didn’t dress up this year for Halloween, but  Jeff carved some very cute cat-o’-lanterns and we celebrated spooky season at home by watching the Scream series of movies and doing a murder mystery game. What a trip down memory lane with the 90’s hair in Scream. The first movie came out around the time I was in hair school in Florida, and it certainly made me grateful that today’s trends nod to the 90’s, but with modern sensibilities and technology.

The rest of October was a whirlwind. In addition to traveling to my cousin’s wedding in Chicago, we also went to the final day of the Met’s Superfine Tailoring fashion exhibit, which explored Black dandyism, and we caught the new Divine Egypt exhibit. We rounded out the month with a trip to see Art on Broadway. It was an inspiring month.

November brings no travel for us, and I am very excited to settle into cozy season at home and spend time in the salon getting everyone ready for winter. If you’ve been contemplating bangs, this is a great moment. If you want to deepen or enrich your hair color for fall, or need help adjusting your care and styling routine for colder weather, I’m here for all of it.

I can also help with:

• Winter scalp care

• Seasonal style updates

• Routine refreshes to prevent boredom-induced madness

As usual, you can book appointments through email, text, the Vagaro app, phone call, my website, Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, Google, and megaphone. As eco-friendly as it may be, we will no longer be utilizing carrier pigeons.
