Here’s a little update on life, the salon, and what’s coming in 2026, but scroll to the bottom for the TLDR
My Dear Clients,
I hope everyone has been having a good year and got a chance to enjoy the Fourth of July weekend. It was so hot out, but the fireworks were amazing!
This Independence Day marks 14 years since I went out on my own as a sole proprietor of a woman-owned business. It also marks 30 years in the beauty industry and 10 years in my basement studio on Smith Street. There are certainly a number of milestones to celebrate this year.
This is a short note, just sharing my vacation schedule again so it's easy to find whenever you need it. It's pretty much the same as the last schedule I shared, with one addition. I'll also be away the weekend of July 17 to celebrate my oldest niece's high school graduation and her 18th birthday up in Vermont.
As always, if you're hoping to book around any of these dates, I recommend scheduling longer appointments a little ahead. For in-between services like shape-ups, bang trims, base breakers, or hairline touch-ups, I can usually make space on shorter notice if you reach out early in the week.
A quick reminder that leaving reviews, posting on social media and tagging the salon, and sending referrals all earn you extra points toward future services. It also helps the salon grow, which I truly appreciate. And of course, gift certificates are always available if you’re looking for an easy gift idea.
I always welcome your feedback. Your thoughts help me continue to improve the experience I provide.
You can book appointments through email, text, the Vagaro app, phone call, my website, Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, Google, and megaphone. As eco-friendly as it may be, we are still not utilizing carrier pigeons. If you have any need for carrier pigeon sized jackets, please let me know.
I look forward to seeing you soon, and I hope you all continue to enjoy your summer.
