I hope everyone is enjoying the summer weather, and getting a chance to enjoy a little break away from the city. i also hope you're staying safe with the increased infection rate that’s affecting our city and everywhere else. We’re staying masked up at the salon for now since it’s all that seems to reliably work with these new variants. I know its an inconvienence to wear the masks- believe me I do, I wear them all day. But if I get sick its likely another 10 days of completely unpaid time away from the salon and a big inconvienence to all of my clients, rescheduling of appointments, and inconvienence to anyone else that got sick. I wanted to take this opportunity to give a couple of salon updates. I’ll be away a couple of weekends in August for my 10th wedding anniversary and my 40th birthday. I’m also going to switch my Sundays to Wednesdays at the salon in the fall to regain a more sustainable work life balance.
As the costs for everything seems to continue to go up, I will be planning another price adjustment in the fall. Not as much as last year- which was making up for several years of price stagnation and increased costs. But a smaller one to try to keep up with the increase of hard and soft costs of doing business. I appreciate your understanding and continuing patronage. I will continue the loyalty points program to give back to my much appreciated customer base and reward your referrals, reviews and social media mentions. If you wish to get ahead of the price adjustment you can always buy gift certificates for a specific service which are good for a year from the date of purchase and lock in the current rates.
