Earth Day Update

My Dear Clients,

Spring has brought with it a burst of color and energy, with cherry blossoms adorning our streets and the excitement of new Broadway shows filling the air. It's a delightful time of renewal, isn't it?

My recent Eclipse Camping trip was truly a highlight, offering a refreshing break for the spirit. The icing on the cake was witnessing my friends' engagement during the eclipse—a moment of pure magic! I hope you had the opportunity to experience the eclipse's beauty as well.

Now, onto some salon updates for this Earth Day:

Last year, we took great strides in sustainability by recycling nearly 100 pounds of salon-specific waste, keeping it out of landfills. This effort goes beyond our regular recycling practices supported by the city of New York. You may not know this, but some of the combs we use are actually crafted from recycled materials—70% hair and 30% post-consumer recycled plastic! It's a small yet impactful way we contribute to reducing the beauty industry's environmental footprint.

In addition, we've revamped our loyalty rewards points system. You can now use points for partial payment of a service, offering you greater flexibility in redeeming your points.

Here are a few more exciting updates from the salon:

  • Brand new capes and aprons to elevate your salon experience.

  • Biodegradable gloves to align with our commitment to sustainability.

  • An innovative salon tray designed to maximize floor space.

  • A quick 10-minute permanent color option for those on the go.

  • Our latest offering—a formaldehyde-free vegan 5-week smoothing treatment, perfect for curls and conscious consumers alike.

As we navigate life in our post-2020 world, I'm curious—how has your schedule shifted? When are your ideal days and times for a hair appointment? Your feedback is invaluable to me, whether it's about scheduling preferences or suggestions for improving your salon experience. Feel free to share your thoughts openly, even if it's constructive criticism. Once a year, I send out a feedback form to gather anonymous insights, ensuring an open dialogue. The survey form is available HERE.

Don't forget, we offer gift certificates for Mother's Day and any other occasion. Spread the word about your experiences at the salon—tag us on social media, leave reviews on platforms like Yelp, Google, and Vagaro, and recommend us to your friends. Your support means the world to our small business.

Booking your next appointment is a breeze—simply visit my website, use the Vagaro app, or reach out via phone, text, or email. Gift certificates are also available online.

Thank you for trusting me with your mane maintenance. See you back to the salon soon!

Warm regards,

Fiona Guidice
